On October 15, 2013, Archbishop Gustavo visited the Cor Unum in Patre Shrine, this was his first visit to a Schoenstatt Shrine. He was welcomed by Fr. Marcelo Aravena, coordinator, Deacon Tony Ludolph and the members of the Diocesan Committee and the Board. We had prayer in the Shrine and the archbishop imparted a blessing on all. Dinner and fellowship was held in the Center.
On Sunday, September 22, Schoenstatt members and pilgrims gathered in the Shrine with much joy for prayer of thanksgiving for the great gift of the formal transfer of the Original Shrine to the Schoenstatt Movement. We give thanks to God, to Blessed Mother and to the Pallottine Community for this great surprise!
We extend an invitation to visit the Schoenstatt Shrine on Sunday, September 22, 2013, during the hours of 9 am – 5:30 pm, to give thanks for the formal transfer of the Original Shrine in Schoenstatt, Germany from the Pallottine Fathers Community to the Schoenstatt Movement. This wonderful surprise from God, as our Family journeys to our Centennial in 2014, was announced on May 22, 2013. We thank the Pallottine Fathers for this great gift and pray for their community and their work. Covenant Day blessings to all.
