Stepping Stone Project
Path to the Blessed Mother – Project Update
Dear Schoenstatt Family,
The goal of the Path to Blessed Mother project is to create a beautiful, accessible walkway of concrete stepping stones from Kentenich Hall to our Cor Unum in Patre Shrine. This path will ease the journey for all who come to visit our Blessed Mother—both members and pilgrims alike.
Our original plan was to raise $3,500 to purchase 140 stepping stones, with volunteer support from our Schoenstatt community to complete the labor. So far, through your generosity, we’ve raised $1,450—enough for 58 stones. We are deeply grateful for every contribution.
However, we have encountered challenges. Securing enough volunteer labor for a project of this scale has proven difficult, especially as many of our members are unable to assist with the physically demanding work. Because of this, the Board is currently exploring alternative design options and seeking professional assistance for the labor portion.
At this time, we are reaching out once again to our Schoenstatt Movement of San Antonio. If you have not yet had the chance to sponsor a stone—or would like to sponsor another—please consider helping us reach our original goal of $3,500. You may give by scanning the QR code below, clicking here or by mailing a check. Please remember to note "Path to Blessed Mother Project" in the memo line.
We place this project confidently in the hands of our Blessed Mother, trusting in her perfect care and intercession.
With gratitude and in Covenant,
Schoenstatt Movement of San Antonio Board
