fr marceloFr. Marcelo was born in Chile. He did his theological formation at the University in Germany. After his ordination he was appointed for Schoenstatt Pastoral Youth Work in Chile and Argentina until 1997. From 1998 to 2002 he was the Manager and Administrator of the Formation Center and Pilgrims House of Bellavista, Chile. In 2003 was appointed Director of the International Head-House of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Germany. In 2006 he was assigned to Australia where he served as full-time moderator for the Movement in several cities for three years. On 2010 Fr. Marcelo arrived to the Schoenstatt Fathers community to Austin, Texas. Currently he is the Coordinator for Schoenstatt in San Antonio and South Florida as well as the Texas Coordinator for the Rosary Campaign. Since he arrived to the US he has also been working as Chaplain at Bastrop Prison and in 2012 he has been named Coordinator of Spanish Priests for the Archdioceses of Austin.
